Sept 17 Log

Woke up pretty tired today, I think due in part to the fact that I was doing things non-stop this entire weekend and did not get a full 8 hours of sleep on either Friday or Saturday night.  Hoping for a solid 8 hours of sleep tonight though, today's been pretty rough and with it being Peak Week at CFCC, I'd like to do well.

Today's workout...

Thoughts on today's workout:

I was real skeptical about my ability to perform since I was exhausted all day long.  I surprised myself and managed to Front Squat for 235lb for one rep (PR).  My previous best was 225lb, so I'll take it!  The metcon was a little brutal for me as double unders completely wipe me out.  I was able to string together about 12 or 13 at my best point, but lost a lot of time to failed attempts at getting started.  I really need to keep working on double unders.

Food Log:

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 4 pieces bacon.
Lunch: From Rotisseur, chicken leg and thigh, kale chips, assorted pickled vegetables.
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Tex-mex tacos in romaine lettuce wraps.
